Who creates the journal?
Each journal is built by our proprietary offline AI model, guided by proven frameworks from psychology and personal development. Our team reviews each edition, without seeing the personal info of the person who created it, to ensure clarity, accuracy, and tone.
Can I choose how my journal looks?
Yes, during the order phase you can give information on your preferred image, or link any image you own or have copyright-free permission to use. The inside content, tone, and structure are all personalised to your survey inputs.
How long does it take to arrive?
Once you complete your survey, your personalised journal is usually written, printed, and dispatched within 2–3 working days.
Shipping times vary slightly by location, but most UK orders arrive within a week from date of your order.
How long does the journal last?
Each edition covers 90 days — with short daily prompts and weekly reflections designed to fit into real life. Each page is unique and designed to take you on a guided, progressive growth journey over the 90-day period.
Is this like therapy?
Not quite. Each journal draws on proven therapeutic approaches - incl. CBT, acceptance therapy, and mindfulness — but it’s not a replacement for professional mental health support. It’s a tool for self-reflection, not diagnosis.
What if I’m not happy with my journal?
If it’s not what you expected, just return it within 14 days of delivery.
Let us know what didn’t work for you so we can learn how to improve our work, and we’ll refund you in full. No fuss.
What if I’ve never journaled before?
Perfect. This was built for you.
Each page gives you one clear, short prompt — no blank pages, no pressure to “write beautifully.” Just five minutes of guided reflection.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship across the UK, but are currently working with printers in order to expand across the EU and North America in the next few months.
Can I buy it as a gift?
Yes — The Gift One is designed for exactly that.
You can include a short letter from you on the first inside page, and the rest of the journal will be built from a gentle survey about the recipient.

Our technology is designed to help people grow, not to grow the model. Your words are never stored, shared, or used to train anything.
Your privacy, protected
When you fill out your survey, your name and any identifying details are immediately separated from your answers before anything else happens. Your survey responses - without your name - are sent to an offline AI model built from a private, adapted version of OpenAI’s latest technology. This model runs in a secure, private instance, not connected to the internet.
How your journal is created
Once your personalised content is written, a separate automation adds your cover design and first name.
Finally, your postal address is only used at the printing and shipping stage, where it’s handled independently from the AI system. At no point is your personal data linked back to your journal’s content.
Your data stays yours
Your survey information is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
It exists only to create your journal.
We do not use your inputs to train or improve our models — your words stay completely private.
Data deletion and retention
If you don’t reorder within 12 months, your survey data is automatically deleted.
You can also request full deletion at any time by emailing support@growthunplugged.com - your request will be processed promptly.
